Well-being and Alcohol Behavioural Coach

Mental Health Advocate | Certified Trauma-Informed

Guy is a dedicated Well-being and Alcohol Behavioural Coach with a profound expertise in the areas of mental health, wellbeing, and addiction. Originally hailing from Manchester, United Kingdom, he embarked on a transformative journey that led him to become a passionate advocate for holistic wellness. Presently, he proudly calls New Zealand his home, a place where he has channeled his experiences into creating positive change.

Guy's unique journey began during his studies in acting in the UK, where he encountered personal challenges related to alcohol use and AUD (Alcohol Use Disorder). This behaviour was triggered further by a marriage breakdown and the loss of his mother, taking him to some of his darkest moments. These pivotal experiences ignited his passion for understanding the intricate connections between mental health and addiction. Armed with an unwavering commitment to self-improvement, he undertook a journey of self-discovery and growth.

Having emigrated to New Zealand five years ago, Guy's determination to help others navigate their own journeys led him to secure a certification as a trauma-informed coach. Further building on this foundation, Guy went on to obtain a diploma in counseling and psychology. A testament new found life of sobriety.

Guy's impact extends beyond his personal journey. He has emerged as an engaging speaker, sharing his insights on mental health and alcohol use disorder at numerous events. His ability to connect with his audience on a deeply human level underscores his authentic commitment to raising awareness and breaking down stigma.

Guy’s  journey from personal struggle to becoming a beacon of hope serves as an inspiration to those navigating their own paths to wellbeing and recovery.
